Sean Kingston and rapper JBAR in Miami, Sunday evening

Sean Kingston was injured Sunday evening (about 8 hours ago) while vacationing in Miami. The singer lost control of his jet ski, crashed into a bridge and was later rushed to the hospital. TMZ has reported that Sean is being treated in the trauma ward and is in critical condition, due to the severity of his injuries.

According to Local10.com, the “Beautiful Girls” singer had a female passenger on board his watercraft when it crashed into a bridge around 6 PM local time.

We’re told both Kingston and his passenger were rescued from the water by a good Samaritan.

The Miami Fire Dept. responded to the scene and both Kingston and his female passenger were transported to nearby Jackson Memorial Hospital. We’re told Kingston’s injuries are so severe, he is being treated in the trauma ward.

We’re told … at this moment, officials do not believe alcohol played a role in the crash.

Kingston’s rep tells TMZ …. “Sean Kingston was in an accident today. No further details are available at the moment. He and his family thank everyone for the well-wishes.”

I sincerely hope those reports are false and his injuries are not life threatening. I will pray for Sean as I’m sure his family, friends and fans will. I would hate to see such a young, talented individual go before he’s made his mark.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are proud parents, after Mariah finally gave birth to their twins yesterday. The babies, or “dem babies” as Mariah refers to them were born April 30th at 12:07 p.m. A huge congrats to the happy couple, who also celebrated their wedding anniversary on the same day. How romantic. Mariah can finally take a load off, after carrying around that weight for what seemed like a lifetime.

She promised she wouldn’t let up and she’s kept that promise by going into the studio and producing hit after hit. I have no doubt that Rihanna will continue to set and break records during her career. She isn’t going anywhere.

Rihanna is the cover of the new Rolling Stone issue and if her photo doesn’t have anyone talking, her interview does. She opened up about her music, her sexual tendencies and her trials with Chris Brown. After Rihanna had the restraining order against Chris relaxed, many people were upset and the night of the beating was brought back into the light. Rihanna stands by her decision and although she cares about what is happening to Chris Brown‘s career, she doesn’t have an interest in getting close to him.

About relaxing the order

“That’s my decision. It doesn’t mean we’re gonna make up, or even talk again. It just means I didn’t want to object to the judge. We don’t have to talk ever again in my life. I just didn’t want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing, it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows, that definitely made it difficult for him.”

About the aftermath of the incident

“I put my guard up so hard. I didn’t want people to see me cry. I didn’t want people to feel bad for me. It was a very vulnerable time in my life, and I refused to let that be the image. I wanted them to see me as, ‘I’m fine, I’m tough.’ I put that up until it felt real.”

It seems after 50 Cent laid down the law and terminated Young Buck‘s G-Unit pass, everything has been going downhill for the once popular rapper. From being arrested to being convicted and later filing for bankruptcy, Young Buck has had his fair share of hard times. According to WMSV-TV Nashville, the rapper’s hard times aren’t over. He was back in court yesterday facing federal charges for ‘being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.’ WMSV reports that the rapper could serve 10 years in prison as a result.

Young Buck is currently out on bail after having his passport revoked and has until Friday to post $100,000 in order to retrieve it.
