50 Cent spoke with Angie Martinez a few minutes ago and clears the air about his comments on twitter stating he, “shut WorldStarHipHop down.”

50 Cent claims he was just messing around on twitter and that he had nothing to do with it, although he left me feeling like he does have something to do with it. The owner of WorldStar also calls in and says it’s a “technical issue,” and that “it should be back up shortly.

This has to be the best and biggest free promotion Q and WorldStarHipHop every received. When is 50 Cent gonna claim responsibility for shutting my site down? Can I be next in line? I could use the hit factor :p.

Vybz Kartel‘s skin has been the topic between Jamaicans for awhile and now it’s the topic everywhere else. Mr. Kartel has never come out and said, “Yes, I’m bleaching,” instead he says he uses, “cake soap.” For those who aren’t aware of what cake soap is, it’s a bar of blue soap that a lot of people (in Africa and the Caribbean) use to wash clothing (yes, clothing. Almost like using detergent on your face). He’s fully aware of comments from the public and Kartel stands by his actions.

He sent a statement to VIBE on Saturday, firing back at critics.

“I’m my own man, and as such I do my own thing. When black women stop straightening their hair and wearing wigs and weaves, when white women stop getting lip and butt injections and implants, when bald men stop getting hair transplants, and when people stop getting nose jobs and cosmetic surgery then I’ll stop using the ‘cakesoap’ and we’ll all live naturally ever after. Until then F**k you all.”
