Nyree Morrison on ‘Ahead Of My Class’

Posted on February 1, 2011 by

It’s funny how things work, because today was the first day I’ve heard of this new documentary series, Ahead Of My Class, and today happens to be their debut.

The first episode introduced us to 19 year old Nyree Morrison, a student, skater and professional painter. I was very impressed with Nyree‘s talent and dedication to his education. He recently received a full scholarship to Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, majoring in sculpting. Nyree says he plans to open his own art gallery upon graduating. In times where negative influence is so easily accessible, it’s nice to see the focus shift to something positive and uplifting for the youth.

Synopsis:

This Documentary Television Series follows the lives of young adults Worldwide seemingly average students as they juggle the demands of school, friend and family relationships and the limelight while remaining involved in improving their communities.

We want to give young adults all over the world a chance to show what puts them Ahead of their Class.

In the Documentary Television Series, we will live vicariously through these young adults as we experience their unique lifestyle.

Watch below.

I would love to see this series get picked up by a television station.
