Saturday was a great night for Saturday Night Live and they have Nicki Minaj to thank. The numbers are in and SNL scored its second highest rating this season after their Nicki Minaj and Jessie Eisenburg episode, ranking a ‘preliminary 3.2 rating with adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters.’ Nicki tweeted to her ‘barbs’ about tuning in to the episode and what their favourite artist asks for, she gets. The highly anticipated episode didn’t disappoint and the ratings prove that Nicki is well on her way to super stardom. The self-proclaimed barbie is preparing for the upcoming I Am Music II tour, alongside Lil’ Wayne, Rick Ross and more.

On last night’s episode of Kim Kardashian‘s reality show, Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Kim is seen crying over nude pictures she took for an issue of W Magazine. The socialite apparently did not expect the nude pictures to be so revealing, stating she’s more naked than she was in Playboy.

Kim:

“Oh my God, I’m more naked than I was in Playboy. I’m so mad right now … [the magazine] promised I would be covered with artwork — you can see nipple!”

“The whole concept was sold to me that nothing would be seen. I feel so taken advantage of … I’ve definitely learned my lesson. I’m never taking my clothes off again, even if it’s for Vogue.”

I’m extremely confused as to why Kim is crying over being nude in public. She is famous for a sex tape she did with her ex boyfriend, Ray J (brother of singer, Brandy). I do understand when she says, “I’ve come so far to go back like this,” meaning she’s trying to change her image; but you take nude pics and expect to change your image Kim? Let’s be real here.

When this video hit my inbox, I was instantly jealous that this million dollar spree wasn’t spent on me :p. Rick Ross continued his birthday celebration by hitting up King Of Diamonds gentlemen club Saturday night, where him, Diddy, Pharrell, Busta Rhymes, Ace Hood and more made a million fall from the sky. You know you’re living good when the Brinks truck has to be called to the club where you’re partying and spending money.

It was a good night for King Of Diamonds.

Chris Brown was in court yesterday to request that the restraining order put against him during his domestic violence case with Rihanna, be removed. The restraining order was put in place to keep Chris at least 50 yards away from Rihanna, except at events where it’s then 10 yards. He was also ordered not to have any contact with Rihanna, including phone, email or text communications.

The judge was unable to make a ruling yesterday because communication to Rihanna‘s attorney was unsuccessful. The ruling was put off until a later date.

I’m sure Rihanna doesn’t have a problem agreeing with Chris Brown‘s request, during the initial ruling in 2009, a request from Rihanna‘s lawyer was made for a less-restrictive order.

I predict these two will kiss and make up, publicly, in the future.

Yesterday I said I didn’t know much about rapper Wiz Khalifa, which is true. Here I am today posting his second single from his upcoming album Rolling Papers titled, “Roll Up.” What I do know is that I instantly liked this track when I heard it, so maybe I will follow Wiz a bit closer from here on out. I’m not sure what it is about the song, maybe it’s the catchy hook, or the fact that it reminds me of something my pretend husband, Nelly, would put out. Either way, it’s a hit.

I read this story yesterday and I wasn’t going to post about it because, let’s face it, mindless entertainment is easier to post and easier to read.

I immediately related to single mother, Kelley Williams-Bolar, when I read the story because she was convicted and sentenced to 5 years (later reduced to 10 days) in jail and 3 years probation after lying about her address to send her kids to a better school. My mind flashed back to my high school years when I lied about my address to attend another high school because I would not have been able to graduate from the one I was in, due to my surroundings and record. Why was that wrong? I do understand that each school has a district in which they serve and to avoid over-population they need to stick to that. But is that truly a crime? I needed that school and it turned out to be the best thing that happened to my teenage years. I went on to produce better grades, graduate and eventually attend and graduate from college. Kelley Williams-Bolar is a single working mother who is close to complete a teaching degree at the University of Akron and because of her conviction, her teaching degree is of no use.
