… should just get along! But in the mean time…

On May 21st, Drake released “9 AM in Dallas” which was said to be (well thought to be, by Page at least) a diss track for Page. Reasons why he may have thought Drake went in?
Well….
“… this one is for all the n*ggas from my city tryna diss, without a response from me you really fail to exist. And I love to see you fail, that feeling there is the sh*t, I swear. P*ssy n*gga get ya bread up”
Drake continues to say…
“Why ya scary ass looking down? Pick ya head up, no one told you your disguise is the most ridiculous get up? With nose plugs in now, I can smell a set up, so you just wasting ya time, you only making me better…”
Or maybe he was mad that Drake said, “I just came off making 2 million in 30 days“. Or maybe, “Weezy, I’m just out here repping us.” Hmm. Whatever the truth and situation is, you have to admit, the Drake freestyle is the ish. Aside from the excerpts above, the rest of it is on point and so honest. Talent is talent, no denying that. “Thank Me Later” June 15th.
On May 27th, Canadian rapper, Page released a diss track for Drake by going over his “Over” beat.
Page starts out with
I got so many mother@!#$%@ haters right now and I feel that it’s all cause, I be going hard. I swear most of these n*ggas that hate, when I see them in they face they pretend that they got no problems at all. Why do they do it? Oh yea, that’s right, they don’t wanna beef.
I don’t know Page, maybe they just don’t care enough to say anything? :S
He also says,
I suggest you stick to rapping n*gga, why you acting? I read ya documents and you were there when it happened, allegedly.
I mean, isn’t Drake a rapper, singer AND AN ACTOR anyway? I’m just saying. hehe.
He continues
N*ggas sayin’ Page just mad Drake came up, but I was with that n*gga when that n*gga kept his chain tucked. Put him in the Range truck, brung him to the shows. When nobody else f*cked with him and said he was a ho. As soon as the light struck him, it’s Page he don’t know, then perform for Lil’ Wayne and does my song at his show. He had nothing else to say, I guess Kia Shine ain’t hit him up. Cause we all know that Drizzy don’t write his stuff…
From those few lines alone, I would have to agree that he’s mad (maybe not mad that Drake blew up) but mad that Drake blew up without him. It’s almost has if he was on Drake‘s payroll, he wouldn’t be doing diss tracks and airing out their supposed dirty laundry. Drake would still be a liar, actor and a snitch, but Page would be set, so it would be all good. *ehem* ok. He sounds bitter to me.
What gave me a good laugh was when Page ended the track with:
“Quit hacking my twitter page too. I don’t know who you’re paying to do that bullsh*t, but them n*ggas is good. Don’t hack my mother@!#$ email either”
Um, right
Side Note: I always think people use tracks they secretly love from an artist they are beefing with just to have an excuse to rap on it and rap like them… :p
So, who are we feeling? Drake or Page? Don’t look at the big picture (because we all know Drake‘s is bigger), be fair about it. In all fairness, I have to run with Drake on this one. Page should forget about this and move on to furthering his career. I suggest he completely detaches himself from Drake because he can’t win in this situation. Even if he proves Drake is all these things and more, who is going to care? No one.
